Jesus' return is INVISIBLE, despite what apostates say.

    The Scriptures plainly say that:

    -- New King James
John 14:19 "A little while longer and the world will see Me no more,
but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also.

    -- Revised Standard
John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world will see me no more, but
you will see me; because I live, you will live also.

    -- International English
John 14:19 A little longer and the people of the world will not see
me anymore. However, you will see me. You will live, because I live.

    -- New Jerusalem with Apocrypha
    John 14:19 In a short time the world will no longer see me;
but you will see that I live
    and you also will live.

    -- New Jerusalem with Apocrypha
    John 14:19 In a short time the world will no longer see me;
but you will see that I live
    and you also will live.

    -- Darby's Bible
John 14:19 Yet a little and the world sees me no longer; but ye see
me; because I live ye also shall live.

    -- New Living Translation
John 14:19 In just a little while the world will not see me again,
but you will. For I will live again, and you will, too.

    -- International Standard Version
John 14:19 "In a little while the world will no longer see me, but
you will see me. Because I live, you will live also.

    -- William's NewTestament
John 14:19 In just a little while the world will not see me any more,
but you will be seeing me. Because I am to live on,<n> you too will
    live on.

    -- Montgomery New Testament
John 14:19 Yet a little while and the world shall see me no more, but
you shall see me; because I live, you, too, shall live.

Because apostates say he will be visible, are all the above Scriptures
    lies?

Yes they can misuse a Scripture to support their bogus belief: Rev
    1:7:

    -- New King James
Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will
see Him, and they also who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the
earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

Revelation is the book with the most symbolism, such as a dragon, a
beast with multiple heads, lamb, sheep, etc, etc.

Rev 1:7 also says "He is coming with (in) clouds'. If he was in the
clouds, he would still be invisible.

Why not come in a clear blue sky? Because his return would be
invisible to those on the earth. Notice:

    - New King James
Acts 1:9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He
was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

Recall it says Jesus will return in "like manner". His return to
Heaven was with clouds, and his return will be in the same manner.
    Notice:

    -- New King James
Acts 1:11 who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up
into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven,
will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.''

    Lu 21:27,

"At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with
    power and great glory." (NIV)

The "eyes" then of the highly symbolic book of Revelation cannot mean
literal eyes, otherwise Jesus' statement at John 14:19 would be false.
And we both know that would not be possible.

were to take the text literally "every eye will see him", then if
Jesus appeared in the U.S.A., the people in Australia wouldn't see
him, etc. (assuming the physical laws are not changed)

So don't listen to the false teachers. They will only confuse you.

The Visible, Personal Return Of Jesus Christ

Christ's Return Will Be Seen By Every Human Eye

    (1) "Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on
account of him. Even so. Amen." (Revelation 1:7 ESV)

Notice the plain statement: "every eye will see him." This is not
restricted to believers with spiritual discernment, nor is it an
invisible presence perceived only by understanding events. It expressly includes "even those who pierced him" and "all tribes of the earth."
Those who are unrepentant and hostile to Him will see Him with their own physical eyes, resulting in their wailing.

    (2) "Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all
the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man
coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." (Matthew
    24:30 ESV)

Notice what Jesus Himself says: "they will see the Son of Man coming."
Who will see Him? "All the tribes of the earth." His coming is not
invisible or hidden in heaven; it is an open manifestation that causes universal mourning among the nations.

First Proposition: The return of Jesus Christ will be an event visibly
beheld by every person on earth, including the ungodly.

Christ Specifically Warned Against Believing In An Invisible Or Secret Presence

    (1) "So, if they say to you, 'Look, he is in the wilderness,' do not go
out. If they say, 'Look, he is in the inner rooms,' do not believe it.
For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west,
so will be the coming of the Son of Man." (Matthew 24:26-27 ESV)

Jesus foresaw that men would claim He had returned in a private,
concealed, or hidden manner. He commands His followers: "do not believe
it." Why? Because His coming will be as unmistakable and universally
visible as lightning that flashes across the entire horizon from east to
west. Lightning cannot strike across the sky invisibly; everyone sees it.

    (2) "For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to
the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day." (Luke 17:24 ESV)

The coming of the Son of Man "in his day" is compared to the brilliant,
open flash of lightning filling the heavens. It leaves no room for
    doubt, calculation, or secret observation.

Second Proposition: Any claim that Christ has arrived invisibly,
secretly, or without open, public visibility is directly condemned by
    Jesus Christ Himself.

Christ Will Return In The Exact Same Visible Manner As He Departed

    (1) "And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was
lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. And while they were
gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white
robes, and said, 'Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven?
This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same
way as you saw him go into heaven.'" (Acts 1:9-11 ESV)

    Consider how Jesus departed:
First, He went up while they were physically "looking on."
Second, they were "gazing into heaven" with their natural sight.
Third, a physical cloud received Him out of their physical sight.
The heavenly messengers declared that He will return "in the same way as
you saw him go into heaven." If He left bodily, locally, and visibly
into the clouds, He must return bodily, locally, and visibly from the
clouds. An invisible presence or purely spiritual change in heaven does
not match "the same way" He departed.

Third Proposition: Jesus Christ departed bodily and visibly before
witnesses, and the Scriptures declare He will return in precisely the
    same visible, bodily manner.

The Return Of Christ Is Described As An Audible, Public Summons

    (1) "For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of
command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the
trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first." (1
    Thessalonians 4:16 ESV)

    Notice four distinct facts:
First, "the Lord himself" descendsrConot a surrogate, not an invisible influence, but the personal Lord Himself.
Second, His descent is accompanied by a loud "cry of command."
Third, it is accompanied by "the voice of an archangel."
Fourth, it is accompanied by "the sound of the trumpet of God."
There is nothing quiet, hidden, or invisible about a shout, an
archangel's voice, and the trumpet call of God raising the dead.

Fourth Proposition: The return of the Lord Jesus is accompanied by open, audible, and world-shaking sounds that awaken the dead.

The Bible Uses Words Signifying Physical Visibility And Unveiling To
    Describe His Return

    (1) "waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our
great God and Savior Jesus Christ," (Titus 2:13 ESV)

The word translated "appearing" is epiphaneia, meaning an open, visible manifestation, an appearance that is clearly seen.

    (2) "when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels
in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and
on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus." (2 Thessalonians
    1:7-8 ESV)

The word translated "revealed" is apokalypsis, an uncovering or public unveiling. He is unveiled "in flaming fire," executing judgment upon the ungodly. An invisible presence in 1914 did not unveil flaming fire nor
inflict vengeance on the disobedient before all eyes.

    (3) "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his holy ones, to
execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their
deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way,
and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against
    him." (Jude 1:14-15 ESV)

When the Lord comes, He comes with tens of thousands of His holy ones to execute immediate, decisive judgment upon all the ungodly.

Fifth Proposition: The New Testament terms for Christ's return denote a visible unveiling and a glorious, public manifestation accompanied by
    the execution of judgment.

Christ's Bodily Return Will Culminate On The Earth

    (1) "On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies
before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in
two from east to west by a very wide valley, so that one half of the
Mount shall move northward, and the other half southward." (Zechariah
    14:4 ESV)

Notice the precise physical statement: "his feet shall stand on the
Mount of Olives." An invisible spirit does not place feet upon an
earthly mountain to cause a visible, physical earthquake and the
    cleaving of the mountain.

Sixth Proposition: The return of the Lord will conclude with His
physical presence upon the earth at the Mount of Olives.

    Summary

By the explicit statement that "every eye will see him," by the direct
warning of the Lord Jesus not to believe anyone who says He has returned secretly or out of sight, by the angelic promise that He will come in
the exact same visible manner in which He ascended, by the accompanying
shouts and trumpets that raise the sleeping saints, by the Greek words demanding an open, visible unveiling in flaming fire, and by the
physical arrival of His feet upon the Mount of OlivesrCoin all these
clear, simple, and self-evident ways, God's Word establishes that the
return of Jesus Christ is personal, visible, and bodily.

To assert that Christ returned invisibly in 1914, or in any secret
chamber, directly contradicts the plain testimony of Scripture. We are commanded by Jesus Himself: "do not believe it."

    Good News rCa

    Jesus is God: christrose.news/Jesus-God.

The exclusive, saving gospel states that Christ died for our sins and
rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Galatians 1:8-9). All other
gospels are counterfeit and doom people to conscious, eternal torment in
the lake of fire (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9; John 3:36; Revelation 14:11; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:10-15). If you deny that Jesus is God,
you will perish in your sins (John 8:24).

Jesus fully satisfied our sin debt to God through His crucifixion
(Colossians 2:14), a truth confirmed by His resurrection (Romans 1:4). Consequently, God maintains His perfect justice while pardoning
believers (Romans 3:26) and rescuing them from imminent judgment (1 Thessalonians 1:10). This salvation is an unearned gift received through
faith (Romans 6:23). Trust in Christ and call upon Him for your
    salvation (Romans 10:9-13):
