Proposition: You should proclaim God's salvation.
Because God delivers you (Psalm 40:1-5)
The Lord hears the cry of the desperate, lifts them from the pit of destruction, sets their feet upon a rock, and establishes their steps.
When God performs such a rescue, He places a new song of praise in the
mouth of the redeemed, causing others to see, revere Him, and place
their trust in the Lord. His wondrous deeds and thoughts toward His
people are beyond calculation. You should proclaim God's salvation
because His mighty rescue and innumerable works demand public testimony
so that others may turn to Him in faith.
Because Christ fulfilled God's will (Psalm 40:6-10)
Sacrifices, offerings, and external ceremonial rituals could never
satisfy God or atone for human guilt. Christ came to do the Father's
will, offering the perfect obedience of a surrendered heart and
presenting His body as the once-for-all sacrifice for sin. Because
Christ fulfilled every righteous demand of the divine will and secured
true redemption, the news of that accomplished righteousness cannot
remain hidden. You should proclaim God's salvation because Christ's full atonement completely satisfies the Father and provides the only ground
of deliverance for sinners.
Because God defends the needy (Psalm 40:11-17)
Surrounded by overwhelming evils, personal iniquities, and hostile adversaries, the believer finds that the Lord remains an unfailing
deliverer and shield. Even when His servants are poor and needy, God
remembers them, restrains their enemies, and supplies divine mercy. This constant preservation provides every seeker with reason to rejoice and
declare continually that the Lord be magnified. You should proclaim
God's salvation because His active protection of the afflicted
demonstrates His power and calls all people to seek their refuge in Him.
Psalm 40 demonstrates that declaring God's redemptive work is the
necessary response of a life touched by divine grace. From the initial
rescue out of the mire to the inward devotion that delights in God's
will, and through the ongoing trials where God defends the helpless,
every facet of the believer's walk calls for vocal witness. Proclaiming
His salvation honors the Lord for His past deeds, fulfills His righteous requirements in the present, and points a watching world to the only
true deliverer in times of need.

Good News rCa
Through the cross, Christ erased the spiritual debt we owed to God for
our rebellion (Colossians 2:14), a reality established when God raised
Him from the dead (Romans 1:4). God can now righteously pardon our sins (Romans 3:26) and exempt us from the coming divine judgment (1
Thessalonians 1:10). Salvation cannot be earned; it is a free gift for believers (Romans 6:23). Trust in Jesus and invoke His name to be saved (Romans 10:9-13):
