What language did they
speak?
The Bible doesn't say. It was probably ancient Hebrew.
The authorised inspired scripture is clear.
Every one spoke Elizabethian english during Creation
week until teh tower of Babel.
Please show me.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven
and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and
void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And
the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
See? Its all written in elizabetan english. Thats the
Authorized version of the Bible as inspired by God.
The original Scriptures were inspired of God (2 Tim 3:16), and would
have been perfect. But all we have today is copies of copies of the
original. None of the original has been found yet. Not all Bible
scholars have the same translation knowledge.
As for the KJV, its not perfect either. Bible scholars have learned a
lot since the KJV was translated in the early 1600's. Here is an
example of one of their errors.
-- King James
Acts 12:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and
delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending
after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
Users of that Bible believe the Easter celebration is in the Bible,
Actually, it is not. What should have read "passover" was translated
"Easter." That is not the Greek word found there. That Greek word is
pascha. Look it up in any other translation and you will see
"passover".
For example the popular New KJV Bible:
"So when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered
him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him
before the people after Passover." (NKJV)
But there one one massive translation error that most all translations
do. And each translation does it nearly 7000 times.
More on that if you are interested.
How to have a

Did the talking snake speak the same language
If that was the only language existing at the time, it (Satan)
probably did.
Lucifer is wiley enough to take a babelfish course in
a week.
and how did they
all learn to speak it in the first place? Just curious
When God created Adam and Eve, he also gave them a fluent language so
they could communicate.
At least that is my two-cents worth.
Politics and religion.
