Christ fulfills the threefold reasons to praise God in Psalm 9 by
embodying and accomplishing what the psalm anticipates.
*GodrCOs Faithfulness* finds its ultimate expression in ChristrCOs
redemptive work. God revealed himself through his divine name in both redemption and creation[1], and ChristrCoas God incarnaterCois the supreme revelation of that faithfulness. Where David testified to GodrCOs past
works and anticipated future deliverance, Christ accomplished the
definitive deliverance through his death and resurrection. His
faithfulness extends beyond a single victory to the establishment of an eternal kingdom where GodrCOs people experience unshakeable security.
*GodrCOs Righteousness* reaches its apex in ChristrCOs judgment and vindication of the oppressed. God judges righteously, and when the
psalmist was attacked without cause, God took up his cause through
righteous judgment[1]. Christ embodies this divine righteousness perfectlyrCohe suffered unjustly yet was vindicated by God, and he will execute final judgment against all wickedness. Christians, like faithful Israelites before them, can rest assured in trials that GodrCOs purposes
will certainly prevail and that oppression by mere human beings will
never thwart it[2]. ChristrCOs resurrection guarantees this triumph.
*GodrCOs Power* manifests decisively in ChristrCOs conquest of sin, death,
and evil. The gospel announces that Christ has already defeated
humanityrCOs ultimate enemiesrConot merely earthly oppressors, but the spiritual forces behind all wickedness. His ascension and present reign demonstrate that GodrCOs power transcends earthly circumstances. GodrCOs purpose was through Israel to bless the entire world, and believers
learn to see every circumstance in light of that overarching purpose[2].
In Christ, this cosmic purpose reaches its fulfillment: redemption
extends to all nations through his gospel.

Good News rCa
Our debt to God was nailed to the cross where Christ died for our sins (Colossians 2:14), and God demonstrated this fact by raising Him from
the grave (Romans 1:4). Now, God remains perfectly just while forgiving
those who put their faith in Jesus (Romans 3:26) and sparing them from
future wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10). It is a free gift for everyone who believes (Romans 6:23). Trust in the Lord and call on His name to
receive salvation (Romans 10:9-13):
