• Where is the missing Verse?

I have been trying to find a verse practiced by the churches of
Christendom. I think I'll look in the popular NIV Bible.

It is where Jesus says something like, 'Pick up the sword and slay
your fellow man, whether they are Christian or not, when your
political leaders declare war with his country and classify him as an
    ENEMY.'

Surely it must be in the Bible. The churches have followed that
missing verse to the letter all through the ages. They have convinced
many people to follow that verse. The graveyards testify to this. They
used that verse during the Crusades, and during WW1 & WW2, in Northern
    Ireland, etc, etc.

So let's have a look. It has got to be here somewhere........

Here's something. Jesus said at Matthew 26:52, ""Put your sword back
in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die
    by the sword.""

Whoops, this says just the opposite. (must be a misprint)

Ok then, let's try Jesus' words at John 13:35, "By this all men will
know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (NIV)

That can't be it. Must have some deep symbolic meaning or something.

Wait, here's one. Jesus' statement at Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you:
Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you," This has to
    be scribal error.

Oh well, I'll keep looking for that verse.

But since the churches talk about God and Jesus frequently and quote a
lot of scriptures, and are supported by a lot of people, they must
    have God's support. Right?

    The Kuserow family of persecution
    by the Nazis.

No you haven't, liar. I posted the verses back in February. You're still pretending like you didn't notice them. See this article: e71953ab-940a-4b37-9be5-97fb4a8bc9fa@christrose.news

    [Satan's Witness wrote]

Mt 26:52 said HIS followers would NOT bear the sword.

idem. What Jesus condemned here is those who take up the sword to
execute vigilante justice over personal grievances. Those are the kind
of people who die by the sword, not those who execute God's wrath
against evil-doers as governing authorities. That's the same thing Paul
said. Neither of them condemned soldiers as being evil-doers. Paul
commended such authorities as doing the will of God (Romans 13).

Jesus' own words from "all" the Scripture confirm you ignore context to
    promote twisted lies:

"He said to them, "But now let the one who has a moneybag take
it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword
sell his cloak and buy one." (Luke 22:36, ESV

Notice, He instructed them to buy a sword. In contrast to when He sent
them to offer the kingdom to Israel (which they rejected), Jesus "now"
told the apostles to buy a sword as He began heading to the crucifixion.
He commended soldiers as examples of great faith, which they would not
be if He considered believing soldiers like the Centurion to be living
    in sin:

"But the centurion replied, "Lord, I am not worthy to have you
come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will
be healed. For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers
under me. And I say to one, 'Go,' and he goes, and to another,
'Come,' and he comes, and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does
it." When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those who
followed him, "Truly, I tell you, with no one in Israel have I
found such faith." (Matthew 8:8|ore4rCL10, ESV)

There is no condemnation there for this man being a centurion. Jesus
would not have set him forth as an example of faith if He thought He was
a murderer who was sinning by continuing to serve in the military.

Paul said governing authorities execute God's wrath against evil-doers
(Romans 13). Nothing in the Bible forbids or condemns a believer from
being a soldier. It condemns vigilante justice that denies God's
governing agents of wrath. You take a single verse here or there,
interpret it in a way which flatly contradicts other clear Bible
teaching, then try to make entire theologies out of them. ========================================

So there's the liar pretending like he's never had the context and
verses explained to him, which refute the Satan's Witnesses lies.

It is where Jesus says something like, 'Pick up the sword and slay
your fellow man, whether they are Christian or not, when your
political leaders declare war with his country and classify him as an
    ENEMY.'

Here's something. Jesus said at Matthew 26:52, ""Put your sword back
in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die
    by the sword.""

Whoops, this says just the opposite. (must be a misprint)

No, you simply ignored the context and other Scripture to suggest the
very opposite of what the verse means:

Context: Peter is using the sword to wield vigilante justice in an
effort to prevent Jesus from going to the cross. Jesus had already
    rebuked him for that here:

rCLFrom that time Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised. And Peter took
him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, rCLFar be it from you, Lord!
This shall never happen to you.rCY But he turned and said to Peter, rCLGet behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting
your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.rCYrCY (Matthew 16:21rCo23, ESV)

Peter thought he was doing God a favor by trying to protect Jesus from
being persecuted. Jesus called Him Satan, because it was the Father's
will for Christ to go to the cross to provide an atonement for our sins. That's the context of Jesus' statement in Matthew 26. Contrary to
Satan's Witnesses lies about Romans 6, Jesus had to go to the cross to
provide an atonement for our sins. This is why He called Peter Satan for suggesting He avoid the cross, and why He noted Peter was only worried
about personal comfort, rather than the actual solution to man's
ultimate problem of being condemned to the lake of fire: Christ's substitutionary atonement for our sins.

This was the same thing in the garden before He went to the cross in
Matthew 26. Peter tried to intervene to prevent it from happening. Jesus wasn't rebuking all self-defense, just vigilante justice that would
undermine man's need for Jesus to go to the cross.

Meanwhile, in contrast to the initial testimony about the kingdom of God
Jesus sent the 70 out to preach (and which Israel rejected), Jesus' gave
new instructions for the church era in which we live:

rCLAnd he said to them, rCLWhen I sent you out with no moneybag or knapsack
or sandals, did you lack anything?rCY They said, rCLNothing.rCY He said to them, rCLBut now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no SWORD sell his cloak and BUY ONE.
For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in me: rCyAnd he was numbered with the transgressors.rCO For what is written about me has its fulfillment.rCY And they said, rCLLook, Lord, here are two swords.rCY And he said to them, rCLIt is enough.rCYrCY (Luke 22:35rCo38, ESV, emphasis added)

So yes, Jesus intended and instructed the church to make provisions to
defend ourselves by the sword. Further, God instituted authorities to
wield the sword as agents of wrath against evil-doers:

rCLFor rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have
no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you
will receive his approval, for he is GodrCOs servant for your good. But if
you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he
is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out GodrCOs wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid GodrCOs wrath but also for the sake of conscience. For because of this you also
pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this
    very thing.rCY (Romans 13:3rCo6, ESV)

So yes, almost everything Satan's Witnesses touch gets twisted and
perverted to mean the exact opposite of what the Bible says.

Ok then, let's try Jesus' words at John 13:35, "By this all men will
know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (NIV)

It would seem you can't even mention the Bible without trying to twist something it says. Jesus was referring to believers loving other
believers, not believers defending themselves against unbelievers.

That can't be it. Must have some deep symbolic meaning or something.

You're the one ignoring the context and plain teaching of the Bible to
promote twisted nonsense that contradicts what the Bible teaches.

Wait, here's one. Jesus' statement at Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you:
Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you," This has to
    be scribal error.

Oh well, I'll keep looking for that verse.

idem. It's a documented fact that you pretend you're looking for verses,
as you willfully ignore what you were already shown the Bible says about
    it.

But since the churches talk about God and Jesus frequently and quote a
lot of scriptures, and are supported by a lot of people, they must
    have God's support. Right?

    Good News rCa

    Jesus is God: christrose.news/Jesus-God.

The only true gospel that has power to save is that Christ died for our
sins and rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Galatians 1:8-9).
Every perverted gospel is false and drives souls to conscious, eternal
    torment in the lake of fire (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9; John 3:18;
Revelation 14:11; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:11-15). If you deny
that Jesus is God, you will die in your sins (John 8:24).

Our debt to God was nailed to the cross where Christ died for our sins (Colossians 2:14), and God demonstrated this fact by raising Him from
the grave (Romans 1:4). Now, God remains perfectly just while forgiving
those who put their faith in Jesus (Romans 3:26) and sparing them from
future wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10). It is a free gift for everyone who believes (Romans 6:23). Trust in the Lord and call on His name to
    receive salvation (Romans 10:9-13):
