    Hi g00r00

    Is there any way I can have a different prompts.txt for different screen resolutions?
    My connundrum is this;

    In 80x25 I want message index lister to show messages spread evenly across the screen, with message number, then topic, then from, then too, then date, etc.

    In 132x37, I want message index lister to show messages spread evenly across the screen as 80x25 but add more padding for topic so that the from/to/date is further right on the screen.

    Currently I have tried making a "prompts.c132x25.txt file but that doesn't seem
    to be read by Mystic.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Running A49 if it helps.

    ... I'd love to help you out. Which way did you come in?

    Great suggestion - I do NOT do 132c anything on 2oFB, but its amazing what some
    sysops have created in 132c mode - I'd love them to be able to fine tune all the prompts.txt stuff; could create a board w/ FULL support for both, and more,
    aspect ratios.

    in the prompts file use

    |DFpromptx

    then in your /themename/text directory you have

    promptx.c40.asc
    promptx.c80.asc
    promptx.c132.asc

    which contain the variants for the resolution you want
