    Ok Marty,

I know you have been using Elebbs for a VERY long time and other than PC
Mike, you are probably the only one who really knows it.

So, after spending a weekend on Maxmus & AracaOS, I have decided to give EleBBS another try.

I was using EleBBS back in the late 1990s/early 2000 when I switched to
MBSE because it was Linux based that I could manage from anywhere in the world.

I have downloaded Ele v0.09g for OS/2 with the intent of installing it
to ArcaOS 5.1. It will be fidonet & FsxNet connected, and running doors.

My personal approach is FrontDoor v2.26, FastEcho, and Binkd.Does this
    sound solid?

Then for the Filegate feed, I was looking at using Allfix.

    What are your thoughts/advice/recommendations?

    Thx,
    Phil

That should work. Some people have problems with sio2k and os/2
    though. I'd
suggest IREX instead of Frontdoor, personally. It should still be
registrable, and the os/2 version isn't too buggy. If you're using
    binkd and
fastecho, you really shouldn't need a front end, at least I don't with
windows. Allfix works great for me for files as well.

Once I get it installed & have more time, I become an active user on
your board. ATM, life is a little busy & crazy...

I've got the latest os/2 binaries at shsbbs.net, via ftp, https
(eleweb or ftelnet), ssh, telnet or wss (port 999).
