Sacred cows should be kicked.

When I encounter a youtube channel arguing that the Earth is flat,
I request youtube not to recommend videos from that channel any more.
I do the same thing to channels arguing that the Earth isn't flat.
I have reached a final conclusion and will not reconsider it.

Open-mindedness is not an unalloyed virtue. It is not some holy
enlightened state of mind that everybody must aspire to on every
claim about every subject. We are not obliged to run and run and
run on the squirrel wheel of endless reconsideration.

There are times when a mind *should* close.

On the flat Earth, and a few other topics, my mind is closed.

its not an argument to state that the earth isnt flat, its more
like stating everyone poops. no argument.
