back when they were dial-up and no Internet to connect to yet. What's

Almost missed this post. Oh, it was going to be focused on aviation and
also a honebase for the listeners of my radio show.
While it does have pilot tools in there, it's way more broad than
that. Other than loads of games linked to a game server board, it has
wikipedia portal, a restricted lynx instance, an online dictionary api,
mrc chat, ddial, IRC, and on. I have all the connection info in my
finger if you want to peruse. All are welcome.
I was a user of bbses starting in the mid-80s using dialup. There was
about 5-6 years I stopped using them, then back again once sysops
modernized their boards and made them telnet/ssh accessible. It's only
gotten better.
It's a vibrant community, you're welcome to dive in.
