    Usenet poet Will Dockery's "Tired of Waiting" took the #1 spot on Penny's Top 20 of July 2026. The poem netted 989 page views during that one month, more than twice as many as that received by the #2 poem, "In the High Hills" by Maxwell Struthers Burt. That was enough to make "Tired of Waiting" the third Will Dockery poem to receive more than 1,000 page views.

    Dockery's "Poem for Kathy" also was hot in July, getting 100 page views (which gives it about 600 views to date) and capturing the #8 spot.

    The September chart won't come out until at least Oct. 1. On the last chart, for August, I ended up with the #1 spot for my sonnet, "Afterglow" (which was February's featured poem and came in at #2 that month, beaten out by your "Poem for Kathy". AAPC alumnus Tom Hendricks held the #2 position in August, for his "4 poems" selection in the 2010 April magazine. AAPC alumnus George Sulzbach took the #19 spot with "Silk Diamond". And you placed 4 poems on the chart, 3 of them in the top 10:
    * Poem for Kathy - #6
    * Morning of My Life - #7
    * On Mulberry Drive - #8
    * Tired of Waiting - #15

    Great, with a few more new poems that would make a nifty little chapbook.
