    Thanks, Will. I was very happy to find it in /Voices/. For one thing, it was a perfect segue poem
    between the 9/11 poems and the "normal life" poems from later in the month.

    Then there was that great PBS video of Clifton reading the exact same two parts of the poem
    that /Voices/ had printed. How lucky can one get?

    And there's the whole "identity politics" angle. I'm not a fan of that, but I'm sure it concerns
    my readers, so it concerns me. PPB is not a blog for poetry by white males, but for poets
    of every variety of human. I want that made clear to my readers, and poems and (especially)
    videos like Clifton's help me make it.
