Since it's become the topic of the day, apparently, here's an example of my Playgrounds Magazine column which I wrote monthly from 1998-2015.

See JLA Forums attachment below for a scan of one of the columns.

    Wow.

In horrendously garbled English, you plug your own songs and declare it (in the third person, yet!) the soundtrack of your life.

If attending a local yokel musicians' meetup constituted one of the finest times of your life, I feel more sorry for you than ever.

It was at least twenty years ago, but it was definitely fun at the time.

    Wow.

From summer of 1998 to the winter of 2015, a column every month plus a poem in every issue of Playgrounds Magazine.

Do the math, that's a lot of published writing.

Note that the Donkey writes "different than" rather than "different from," which would be the correct grammar. Also, Will Donkey puts the period OUTSIDE of the quotation marks in: [Quote] and the true soundtrack to the life of "Will Dockery". [End Quote]

Miguel has the right to punch the Donkey.

In my defense, the typesetter for Playgrounds Magazine was always "correcting" my articles in that way.

But, fair enough, you got me on that one.

Miguel was still incorrect in his use of the comma in the quotation marks.

Finding errors in my writing doesn't change that, NancyGene..

No, Miguel was not incorrect if he was from a non-American English-speaking country.

Bullshit on the typesetter changing things. Those are YOUR mistakes. You still make those same mistakes.
