    Well, that doesn't rob his folklore series of all value. None
    of the stories may be true, but they can be accepted as a
    true account of what his "people" (the Bandar-Log) used to
    tell each other. Only Bandar-Log could be expected to
    believe them as true tales about their subjects, but to the
    rest of the world they're a treasure trove of information
    on the almost extinct Bandar-Log culture that once
    thrived here on aapc.

    Interesting perspective.
