George J. Dunce is a misogynist, and starts frothing at the mouth whenever a woman appears to be more intelligent, more talented, or better educated than himself. Since NancyGene is all three of these things, her existence is anathema to him. IIRC, Dunce often flew into a tizzy attacking Gwyneth and ME as well. I suspect that Karla was on his lits o hate as well.

George J. Dunce is a cowardly misogynist, though, and disappears (but not under covers--he refuses to go under the covers) whenever challenged. Will Donkey clomps in and changes the subject to save George J. Dunce, but the damage is done. We don't think that George J. Dunce had his emotional support Moose or his Trusted Source and Only Friend at the time Gwyneth, ME or Karla were on AAPC. If he had had those to back him up, he would have still been a dunce. Pity.

NancyGene is George J. Dunce's worst nightmare -- a woman who can, and does, kick his ass online.

The fact that A.A.P.C. constitutes a potential audience (however small) only makes the humiliation that much worse.
