    Yes, OS/2 needs a Rust compiler, hoping the upcoming port of GCC 16.x
    includes it but not sure.
    The problem with Rust is our limited 32 bit address space. Even some
    modern C++ code stretches the limits with one process using up to 2GB+
    of ram, so need to do make -j1 sometimes. Need Warp v4.5+ to access the
    memory above 1 GB as well.
