The Dead Internet Theory Is No Longer a Theory.

For years people have talked about the idea that the internet is slowly being taken over by bots, automation, and artificial intelligence. What once sounded like a conspiracy theory is starting to look more like reality.

In this video we explore the Dead Internet Theory and the growing possibility that much of the internet is no longer driven by humans, but by machines.

AI can now write scripts, generate voices, produce videos, create images, and even simulate human conversations. Entire channels and websites can be created automatically. The line between human content and machine generated content is fading faster than most people realize.

Ironically this video proves the point.

The voice you hear in this video was generated using ElevenLabs voice cloning technology.

The script was created with ChatGPT.

The visuals and video generation were created using Google Flow.

All I did was provide prompts and a few images to guide the process.

This video is not meant to scare people. It is meant to demonstrate how powerful AI tools have become and how quickly the internet is changing.

The real question is no longer whether AI will change the internet.

The real question is how much of the internet is already artificial.

Is the Dead Internet Theory becoming reality?

Internet fully died somewhere during the pandemic.

In the 201Xs you had Eliza bots that were smart enough to stare up the
dumbest of humans on Facebook and Reddit.

Then Reddit had the "Subreddit Simulators" long before OpenAI. They were eerily correct and funny.

I would bet half of Reddit is just a bot. Especially in the larger
    subreddits.

Look at the Digg Relaunch: https://digg.com/

At this point I'm onboard teaching GenZ how to access Usenet. Discourse
    online couldn't get any worse.

Unless I took the photo myself or trust the photographer I just assume
stuff is AI now. Facebook is flooded with stuff where the physics is
close enough that it has 100x comments. (And half of those comments are
    near identical enough).

Good time to find a non-fiction book printed before 2010 or go touch grass.

Between the war(s) and Dead Internet I think it's just going to get weird.
