I been using reticulum not just because one of the creators is a hacker
that attends CCC on a regular basis, also an anarchist and true
believer on anticapitalist,dencentralization,free and open software, digital rights
and more... Reticulum does not limit you to LoRa like mestashtic.

Another older and more popular desktop TUI program is nomadnet, unfortunatelly is in python so is SUPER slow and THEY do not
let you add VIM keys so I am not a fan of it
waiting for someone to write a desktop program in a systems
language like C/C++/GO/Rust etc ...
