If there's any form of payment involved they have to verify it's you
and you've paid. Even if you access the site via tor they know it's specifically you.
That is a very good point, but I guess at the end is deciding who you
allow to know who is you, in most personal thread models unless you are
an spy, dissident, etc is ok to have a balance between who do I give my data to big tech or this small guys over there... all depends on your thread model.
