    Five keys:
“The Democrats have been telling us Trump’s reelection is a threat to democracy. In fact, they were so concerned of this threat, they staged a
coup, ousted their democratically elected incumbent and installed Kamala Harris,” Gaffigan said.

“In other words, all her dreams have come true. It really makes me
consider the power of prayer, right Cardinal? Sometimes prayers take three-and-half years and a George Clooney op-ed.”

    — with many joking it wasn’t “even comedy because it’s the truth.”

“Hello 911, I’d like to report the murder of an entire political party,” one user tweeted.

“BRUTAL takedown made worse by the fact that what he’s saying is true,” another said.

Comedian Jim Gaffigan’s scorching takedown of Dems at Al Smith Dinner
goes viral: ‘Murder of an entire political party’

Comedian Jim Gaffigan’s blistering swipes at Vice President Kamala
Harris and fellow Democrats at the Al Smith Dinner have spread like
wildfire on social media — with some calling his takedown jokes the
“murder of an entire political party.”

Gaffigan repeatedly took shots at the Democratic nominee during Thursday night’s glitzy event in Manhattan after Harris became the first
presidential candidate in 40 years to skip the light-hearted Catholic
    charity bash.

“You know, this event has been referred to as the Catholic Met Gala. Twenty-two percent of Americans identify as Catholic. Catholics will be
a key demographic in every battleground state. I’m sorry, why is Vice President Harris not here?” the jokester said as he emceed the charity dinner.

she opted to skip the Catholic charity bash.

Standing just seats away from Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer
(D-NY) and former President Donald Trump, Gaffigan elicited rowdy laughs
as he ridiculed Harris for making time for other platforms instead — including the sex-focused podcast “Call Her Daddy.”

“I mean, consider this, this is a room full of Catholics and Jews in New
York City. This is a layup for the Democratic nominee,” Gaffigan said.

Trump made nice with Schumer backstage at Al Smith Dinner — before
joking Brooklyn Dem could be ‘first woman president’

“In her defense, I mean she did find time to appear on The View, Howard Stern, Colbert, and the longtime staple of campaigning, the Call Her
Daddy podcast,” he continued. “You know what I think it is? I think she doesn’t like me. Chuck, do I have bad breath?”

At one point, the “Saturday Night Live” gagster also joked about the Democrats opting to replace President Biden with Harris because they
fear a Trump win so much.

“The Democrats have been telling us Trump’s reelection is a threat to democracy. In fact, they were so concerned of this threat, they staged a
coup, ousted their democratically elected incumbent and installed Kamala Harris,” Gaffigan said.
