What with all this talk about "Borderlands" being a terrible
video-game movie adaptation, Uwe Boll must be feeling left out. After
all, _he_ used to be the king of terrible video-game movie
    adaptations!

But don't worry; Boll has a plan! Start an Indiegogo campaign to make
Postal: The Movie! Just one problem... apparently the campaign was
started without asking Running With Scissors -the developers and
owners of the Postal licence- whether they were okay with this. Which, incidentally, they aren't.

But you still needn't worry, because Boll provided himself an out.
Fine print, baby! It essentially read, "In the event that we are
unable for some reason to make Postal The Movie, all collected funds
will instead go towards the making of a completely different movie (California Fried Movie) instead." Which just happens to be a sequel
    to Boll's first-ever film.

I'm sure there's absolutely nothing illegal with using somebody else's trademark to secretly collect funds for your own project, right?

Fortunately (or sadly, depending on how much schadenfreude you enjoy)
the Indiegogo campaign was cancelled, and supposedly all the money
will be refunded. But good job, Uwe Boll; you may not have usurped "Borderlands" in the news cycle, but you sure put up a good showing!

Huh, that sounds illegal. Also, didn't Uwe already make a Postal movie?
