Anyone have any experience with cython - python to c compiler?

I'd like to "compile" some python scripts I've made.

I've used that or something like it before, its ok, you don't lose anything and gain a compiled binary of sorts.

Have you looked at https://pyinstaller.org/en/stable/ ?

It's not a cross compiler, you build the binary on the OS you want it to be run on, but it compiles for Linux, macOS and Windows
apparently, and has 4000+ stars on github so that seems to be a popular choice.
