    COMET OR SPACESHIP? Interstellar object 3I/ATLAS is about to take the "Perihelion Test." On Oct. 29th it will make its closest approach to the sun-- the ideal moment to perform a Solar Oberth maneuver or deploy probes. Soon we'll know whether 3I/ATLAS is truly a comet or if it only looks like one.
