I was thinking of whether to post this article on "People and Politics," or whether it would be more appropriate under "Whistle Blowers." I've decided on posting this here under the Whistle Blowers area. This article is about President Trump's imitation of Vladmir Putin. The world is up in arms about Putin's military invasion of Ukraine. Everyone knows that it was a bad and illegal move, an invasion of a country for no good reason. Putin thinks that it is simply a re-joining of Ukranian Russians back into Russia Proper. The whole world is against Putin for his illegal activities and general bad behavior.
Then enters Trump, Donald Trump, leader of the so called Free World. He is doing the same thing that Putin is doing but no one is calling him out, probably just because its Trump and not Putin, but how close are these two people in their ideology. Trump wants to invade a helpless country, Greenland, and "help improve the lives and lot of the people living there." It is totally absurd, its like having someone break into your house and say that they are only doing it for your good because the criminal wants to rearrange the things in your house, improving the look and function of that home.
I call out bravo sierra. Invading or "occupying" Greenland is an act of war, war against a nation that doesn't have a standing army. These are a peace loving peoples. They just want to live their lives in peace. Trump is trying to say that his bitter pill will be good for that country. Full on Bravo Sierra.
What is happening is Evil... Strong men attacking weaker structures. Some people consider Trump to be a great American leader who is doing the stuff that should have been done long before, someone who is making the right policies and doing good works that others would never do. They think that Trump is refreshing. I call him a tyrant, a bully, and a person who can never accept constructive criticism. He is becoming a dictator, doing things and forming policies that are counter-productive, illegal, immoral, Evil, and far off-side. Yes he has done some things that are amazing. However, copying Putin's foreign policies and just doing things without it being approved in the legislature, just simply doing whatever he pleases to do is a dangerous doctrine.
People should look at just how reckless Trump's "let's just do it" policy and see for themselves that Trump's radical politics is bad for America and bad for the World as a whole. The last thing we need is another dictator.
"Greenland is Not For Sale!" --- This is the speech coming from Greenlanders and their supporters globally. You can't just decide to "help" them out with being taken over and restructured. Or maybe you can do this, though it is totally wrong and should never be done. But that, the right thing to do, is not in the same head space. No one should rest in peace who receive support from Trump and the current American government. He will turn his back on you and break things.
I stand with Greenland
I do not want to see their house invaded
I don't want any more dictators, friendly or otherwise
What a mess.

Believe the Greenland deal is already made, and that what we see is drama to sell the idea to the public.
The lessons the Europeans taught with the Diego Garcia farce, where under pressure they gave away the Island to a China proxy, is not lost.
Trump is the FOURTH US president to try to acquire Greenland.
Despite what the media tell you - what it gaslights you with propaganda - this has been on the table since the 1860's - yes over 160 years.
I am likely on of the few on this reflector who have actually been to Greenland?
While interesting, outside of the strategic location there is not a lot to recommend it. I bought some nice artwork there from the artist, and another day I ate a Yakburger. Also was in the only Thai restaurant in Greenland at the time.
As the USA has economically been the underpinning of the country for the last 80 years, other than having their people force sterilized by the Danish government become an impossibility and being treated right as USA peoples, not very much should change.
Done deal? Thinking so.
Canada next?
That is up to the Canadians.
... We all live in a yellow subroutine...
