• Anniversary State of Russian-Ukranian War

Four years ago on February 24th, 2022 Vladimir Putin, the leader of The Russian Federation declared war AKA a "Special Military Operation" against the sovereign nation of Ukraine. Ukraine did nothing to bring this action against themselves, they were innocent. Yet because they had fertile land and natural resources they looked tempting to annex. The word is that Putin figured it would be an easy grab, but the whole of Europe gave their support to Ukraine.

There seems to be a disconnect between Western and Russian understanding of the situation. Russia thinks that the Ukraine should be forced to remain outside of the NATO organization as Russia sees NATO as a military adversary. Russia thinks that Ukraine should be a buffer country so that if NATO ever invaded Russia they would have to get through Ukraine before they could get to Russia. The fact is that NATO does not want a war with Russia. NATO membership was even considered a possibility to include Russia in. As for countries that want to join NATO, they are required not to have an active war going on at the time of their admission. NATO is not the aggressor, NATO is meant to keep the peace, not being a bully. Granted there are some people who are affiliated with NATO who are bonkers, but the vast majority want peace and cooperation. DUCK AI (duckduckgo.com) says that around 400,000 Ukrainians and 200,000 Russians have died as a result of the war. Civilian casualties include around 16,000 Ukrainians and 3,000 Russian-Affiliated people, who died needlessly for a needless war that doesn't make sense.

What will Russia get if they win the war? Burnt out land, hatred, and a slow reunification of the Soviet Union? The only reason I can see Putin receiving any sort of a win would be to re-unite CCCP (The Soviet Union). Vladimir Putin has made it clear in his writings that he is very much pro-Communist and he believes that the fall of the Soviet Union was the worst geo-political event of the 20th Century.

What do you folks think? What is the purpose or end-game of this war? How can we resolve this conflict? Giving into bullies will only embolden the aggressiveness and make things worse. You can't be a [female dog] to The Man, he will crush you.

Shaking my head in sorrow for needless tragedy,

There are a number of articles where Burns' employees directly talk about how they agreed on the division of Ukraine. So go ask the Democrats about it. When Trump says that this war would not have happened if he were president, Trump says about this: Andrey Piontkovsky's interview with Mark Feygin can be watched on the YouTube channel. Regarding the deal that may have been concluded between the Russian authorities and CIA representatives, the political analyst stated the following: "It has now been revealed - this is a disclosure in which I played a modest part - that secret negotiations took place between Burns and Putin on November 5, 2021. It turns out that Burns made a secret oral agreement. He could have entered into this agreement either as a Biden staff member or voluntarily on his own." Then, Andrey Piontkovsky shared available information about the terms of the deal between Putin and Burns: "What was the essence of this oral agreement? He promised - and his activities during the war demonstrated this - that the Americans would not allow the Ukrainians to strike Russian territory. And what did Putin promise in return? Putin promised that 'our strike will be limited and we will not go beyond Ukraine's borders, meaning we will not attack NATO countries.' Quite a deal."

If you think of the 70s and 80s as good times and expect NATO tanks to
roll into the Soviet Union, it makes perfect sense. I wish I could find
it again, but there was a YouTube video that turned the map of Europe
90 degrees clockwise, and looking at it that way, you see all of the
land exposure the Soviet Union has. It's important to reconsitute the
Soviet Union if you're still expecting tanks to roll into your country.

Maybe Putin was projecting about the tank thing?

And, didn't we agree to defend Ukraine in exchange for them giving up
their nuclear weapons after the fall of the Soviet Union?

All questions to the Democratic Party. They agreed on the division of Ukraine. Trump always talked about this, only very allegorically.

Shaking my head in sorrow for needless tragedy,

You have glossed over so much.

Geopolitical and Military shenanigans every which way in the UKR.

From my cheap seat here I liken this "war" as a Banker's-War mixed with World Class Graft.

It is bluntly naive to ignore the geopolitical games being played, and taking any one side over the other.

"Ukraine" is merely a region where these games happen to be exposed to us. The never ending African and South American conflicts seem to often be forgotten.

In many cases there involve the same players.

The people of the UKR so lack an singular unified identity that for decades they have sold each other out.

Want to build an otherwise forbidden biolab? You could do it there for a price.

You want some orphans for your plans? Pay the UKR price and it could happen.

Want to screw somebody over with top level financial skulduggery? The UKR institutions could help. for that fee of course.

Ripoff artists - when I last was in Lisbon Portugal the UKR plated cars were all $1/4m and up models I had never seen on the street before. Lunch at the Four Seasons sort of crowd.

And not let us forget that the State Department and CIA (I think they are different...) installed the UKR government in what essentially was a coup.

And because the influencers still are allowed their grifting, the UKR accepts this as the norm.

Suspended elections, president who's team is corrupt enough that they have gone into hiding in countries without extradition treaties.

I shed not a tear for these folks.

    ... I think I am, therefore, I am... I think.

We bought a lot of ex-Soviet radiologicals of all types.

The big reason was to control the destiny and security of these things.

Expect we did the same on other "war asset" items as well.

Whether a defense pact was formally entered or just media, IDK.
