I have heard rumors lately of Florida Senator Ron Desantis being a
member of Skull and Bones. From what I have been able to find, DeSantis was never a member of skull and bones, but was a member of the Open
Secret Society (AKA Wolf's Head) as well as Scroll and Key (https://tinyurl.com/rondsb1):
Typical "Frat Brat" or something more sinister? You can hardly attend such a school without joining something.
It seems DeSantis may not be the angel that republicans and most
truthers that I have come across are making him out to be.
Does being a "Pledge" damn the person?
Does any networking advantages so completely offset personal character and ability?
Is it realistic to hold out for a pledge-free candidate to champion?
I have to wonder what Trumps connection to these groups are. There are plenty of people making claims that DT has a membership with Skull and Bones, but no evidence to back it. We will see as things unfold.
Counterfactual Proofs never exist, and therefor critics of a person feel emboldened to make claims that can not be effectively disproved.
This is a logical fallacy - Hypothesis Contrary to Fact - Logically Fallacious
I have heard from many sources that members of political leadership are preselected and installed into power, regardless of how the votes are counted (if they are actually even counted). The biden election was evidence of this. Maybe its not so much that they cheat during the elections, its that the elections are just smoke and mirrors. They're putting on a show to make you think your vote counts.
A separate set of claims which break down into:
Are Political Leaders Preselected - the most correct answer would be "partially" as their "team" selects who they feel is the most likely to succeed. That team may be so powerful as to be able to "install" a vegetable in some cases. But do the two teams have a common manager or collude? Much less established.
The disjunction between cast and counted votes has become obvious and overt. There is plenty of indicators that very strong influences are built from the cummulation of many smaller steering actions.
The show aspect of elections is claimed, but we do know that without voters it is more difficult to count votes.

Personally many folks are not joiners of frats and other groups. It does seem that they have more of a struggle than those who join in. Part of that is because they lack the network of folk who know and trust them.
Somewhat of a paradox in ways.
