1. Preface
Amid the chaos of a collapsing empire in the early 1990s,
a calm and persuasive voice resonated through post-Soviet
television. It spoke not of politics - but of the Eternal.
Of stone, time, and the energy of pyramids. This was the
voice of Sergei Proskuryakov - an engineer and visionary
whose ideas flared briefly before fading into obscurity. Was
he a madman or a genius who had glimpsed the truth hidden
in the geometry of ancient megaliths? That is for you
to decide. Here, I will briefly outline his unconventional
views.
2. The Engineer's Apocrypha
Proskuryakov saw pyramids through the eyes of a builder. His
engineering mind refused to accept that the colossal
structures of Giza or Teotihuacan were mere tombs. "That's
like declaring a nuclear power plant a temple of steam
turbines," he argued. Thus was born his heresy: pyramids
were not burial chambers but technical devices - machines
of planetary scale. But for what purpose? He turned
to concepts of the ether and vacuum energy. In his view,
a pyramid was a resonator, an antenna interacting with the
omnipresent "ether-crystalline lattice" of the universe. Its
precise geometry and cardinal alignment focused energy flows
- both from the cosmos and from the depths of the Earth.
3. The Sacred Code in Stone
To Proskuryakov, the Great Pyramid was a high-precision
engineering blueprint encoded in stone. The ratios of its
angles and proportions - reflecting Pi and Fi (the golden
ratio) - were not mystical symbols but technical
necessities. Only such harmonious proportions allowed the
structure to resonate with planetary fields. Every detail
had a function: granite sarcophagi became resonators, and
"ventilation" shafts acted as directional waveguides
in an energy circuit.
4. The Physics of the Grid
This led him to his boldest hypothesis: a global energy
grid. The pyramids of Egypt, the ziggurats of Mesopotamia,
the temples of Mesoamerica - these were not isolated cultic
structures but nodes in a unified planetary system.
Connected by an unknown principle, they operated in sync.
His engineering logic was impeccable. He spoke not of magic
but of physics. Imagine the colossal mass of a pyramid like
Cholula - it inevitably creates a localized gravitational
anomaly, a subtle warping of space. The immense weight
presses on the bedrock, influencing tectonic stresses and
altering groundwater flow. The stone itself becomes
a massive object interacting with Earth's electromagnetic
field. And due to the piezoelectric effect, the constant
pressure of upper layers on lower ones could generate a weak
but steady electric charge in quartz-containing blocks.
Finally, the shape - a geometrically perfect pyramid - acts
as an ideal waveguide for infrasonic frequencies, Earth's
natural vibrations. A network of such structures, scattered
across continents, could resonate and exchange these
vibrations, forming an invisible planetary energy circuit.
This was not magic - it was geophysics. In his vision, this
grid stabilized the climate and powered a civilization whose
technological level remains beyond our grasp.
5. Atlantis as the Operator
Who built this grid? Proskuryakov turned to Atlantis - not
as myth, but as a highly advanced technogenic civilization
that mastered "form-energy." Their science did not separate
matter and energy. A catastrophe led to the loss of this
knowledge. The remnants of their priesthood tried
to recreate the technology through ritual - and thus,
religion was born. The pharaohs of Egypt were not despots
but custodians and operators of ancient devices.
6. Silence and Oblivion
The fate of a heretic is predictable. In the 1990s, the
Academy of Sciences met him with a wall of rejection. They
demanded formulas and experiments, unwilling to acknowledge
a paradigm that required entirely new tools. He was drowned
in accusations of dilettantism and mysticism. His lectures
retreated into small circles; his books became rarities.
A campaign of silence began. Today, Proskuryakov's name
is forgotten. Yet echoes of his ideas live on - in studies
of pyramid anomalies, in research on structured vacuum,
in geobiology. His central question remains unanswered:
If pyramids were just tombs, why do they lack traces
of cultic activity, while their geometry reveals knowledge
unimaginable for antiquity? The riddle he sought to solve
still awaits its time.
