Just a heads up to everyone here: The Hackers on Planet Earth
conferences have been uploaded to Anonymous Archivers File Distro
Network. We are about half way there. I need to do some file renaming but for the most part the conference video is accessible. To get all
the rest of the video will cost PHATstar about $500. As we have the
funds we are adding conferences piece by piece to our collection. The 2600 Magazine staff have approved the distribution of their conference MP3's and MP4's of the conferences (both audio and video). I need to rename some of the files so its easier to understand what files you are actually retrieving, but for the most part we have half of their
content, starting from the oldest and acquiring the newest years, year
by year progressing to the most recent. Please let the PHATstar Society admin know about what you would like to see on Anonymous Archivers FDN. We will try to acquire the files you are looking for so long as they are in good taste, family friendly, and not pirated. Let us know what you want to see and we will try to make it happen.
Where can we buy Anon a coffee? If you're interested in helping out the PHATstar Society with our archiving projects you may send PayPal to society@phatstar.org. Thanks! We can accept coins for The PHATstar Society, but not specifically for Anonymous Archivers, due to licensing issues with the distributing of various content. However, it seems fine to sponsor the acquiring of new media as long as its for the purpose of purchasing new content rather than simply put into a general Anon Archivers fund.
I've been hunting for the 'The Hacker Digest Lifetime' - the 2600 yearly release stuff... any leads on that?I may inquire of 2600 whether it would be cool to archive the 2600 Magazine as well as their conferences. I've been hesitant about asking for permission to share their magz as we already have been given such a great opportunity in being allowed to share their conference media. I'll discuss with the team what we should do, how we should go about this.

Historically, they deny these requests... seems they still care more
about the dollar than the data. Go figure.
2600's editorial quality has gone into the toilet over the last ten
years; they got particularly shrill during the Trump years, preferring
to inject politics (and not even logically consistent politics) into almost every article.
