  • Israelis Told to Hide Their Jewish Faith & Homeland

    CBN News Channel has just released some footage, some official footage, given by the State of Israel urging Israelis from not traveling and to hide the fact that they are Jews as revealing such may open up opportunities for haters to persecute people who hold Israeli passports or follow the Jewish faith. It is of a high urgency for all Israelis throughout the world. They are officially being told by the Jewish nation to not reveal that they are citizens of Israel or follow the Jewish faith. The person giving the message said "I can't believe that I am saying this [but this is for real]."

    This is a serious TARFUN : "Things Are Really Fouled Up Now"

    What do you gentlefolks think about all this?

    What do you gentlefolks think about all this?

    I like a world in which Jews and Muslims, both, can be openly and happily Jewish or Muslim, without having to hide who they are.

    I believe, quite categorically, that secular democracies in which individuals are equal under the law in all respects, and which respect the rights of individuals to worship as they please, is the best, and possibly the only way to achieve this.

    I do not know what to do about Israel and Palestine or how to solve the current problems there. A lot of people seem to have solutions, some of which are despicable.

    No Jew should ever have to do what is being suggested here, or feel unsafe because they are Jewish.

    Nor should any Muslim. I remember what happened after 9/11. And what happened to Wadea Al Fayoume, a 6 year old who got stabbed 26 times by his landlord for having the wrong ethnicity (or religion; it could go either way with these kinds of people).

    Individuals matter.

    Individuals are not, in any metaphysical way, responsible for the perceived sins (or accomplishments) of groups to which they belong.

    This is simple for me.

    Not so simple for a lot of other people.

    People can be Muslim or Jewish or Atheist or Pagan or Christian around me whenever they'd like.

    Political Islam, more correctly called Islamic communism, sets as its goal the destruction of the white race and the entire Western civilization. The Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, the Ayatollahs, these are not religious figures. These are modern Bolsheviks who studied in France and mixed the ideas of the French Maoists with the ideas of Islam. They just want to kill everyone because we all exist. They believe that white people are oppressing them. The only problem is that this war of civilizations began even before the Crusades during the Islamic attempt to conquer Europe, as well as the Golden Horde, which tried to do the same.They identify us as the white race that must be destroyed. Therefore there will never be peace. They want the death of all diversity in the world in order to build a global concentration camp like Iran, where women are killed for not covering their heads, and journalists are hanged from cranes.

    I agree that we should have personal freedoms to choose what we believe to be true and follow that. Being forced to be any religion is wrong. Granted, some faiths will save you while other's won't, but the decision should be the person's own and not some mandated faith or religion. Jesus Christ has said "I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life, and Nobody Comes to The Father Except Through Me," which is distinct from all other religions in having Christianity be the only one that will save your soul for eternity. At the same time though, people should be able to choose to make the wrong decision as I think people have the prerogative to make this decision on their own. It would be absolutely tragic when people make the wrong decision, but things like the Crusades, in a convert or die mentality, even though that would save some, isn't morally right.

    One of the options discussed after WW II and quickly shot down was to
    create an Israeli state in what's now Alaska. The mind boggles at an
    oil-rich Israel and no jewish/middle eastern conflict. If only
    Jerusalem wasn't a show-stopper.

    People have studied faiths and belief systems for centuries -
    and still do. I would think there is much more to "They" than
    you surmize.

    Wars have been fought abusing faiths as a tool. You can't blame
    the tool to be at fault. It's the people behind the processes
    (propaganda, misinformation, etc.) that are to blame.

    No-one in this world should be afraid to say who one is. Regardless if this
    be nationally, religious, biologically or mentally defined.

    Prejudice if obviously part of this world too, I'm not naive, but obvious discrimination is just wrong and hate crimes should be punished equally to the crime level. You embarrass, be embarrassed. You hurt, be hurt. You kill, be killed. This is where I opt for eye for an eye so those who tend to escalate finally feel how it is to become a subject or victim of escalation as well... maybe that's how we stop this madness.
