• how to prepare for the tribulation

There is no way to completely prepare for the Tribulation. The best a person can do is find themselves to be followers of the most high God at the time of the Rapture. However, if you find yourself on the wrong side of the Rapture and you are left behind, these are some things that would serve you well. First of all you need several water filters, food, shelter, and a Holy Bible in a translation that preserves the original text while being understandable. It is written that the adversary will overcome The Saints during this time period. The Book of Revelation describes a full days work paying for a single meal during that time, so there will be famine. Furthermore, there will be persecution against the Christian church like nothing before in the history of the World. Without faith in God everyone else will be sucked into the New World Order and find themselves damned for worshipping the anti-Christ. Whosoever receives the mark of the Beast will have sealed their eternal fate in damnation, a situtation that can never be undone. Once a person receives the mark has no hope. Neither in this world nor the world to come. Some people will take the mark because it will make life temporarily easier, they will be able to buy and sell, and they will be worshiping the Anti-Christ for all the wrong reasons. A person who resists the Anti-Christ will not be able to buy or sell anything and they will be tortured and killed in the most painful of ways.

So resisting the eternal death that comes with The Great Tribulation would be a day by day struggle to evade torture and find food and drink. The LifeStaw and The SteriPen are recommended to give water filtration on the cheap that work very well at water filtration. As for food, food caches would be a nice thing to have.

With the Great Tribulation being the worst time in Human history, there being no greater tribulation since the creation of the world to ever shall be, it makes most sense to just evade that horror by placing your trust in Jesus Christ as your Messiah (saviour). You will find real hope that is trustworthy. There is no greater gift ever given to anyone than for a person to have all of their sins forgiven and granted citizenship in Heaven. Seriously consider this. Being left behind is living in Hell on Earth, with the Hell on Earth part being ever more real than you might expect or imagine.

    In earnest seriousness,

    Yes there is.

Faith led pious living is all the preparation needed.

We so want to plan to have everything in a "normal life" mode when such events play out, even though we have been told it will not be normal at all.

Focus on faith, as any other preparation is speculatory.

    Hello warmfuzzy!

so.. wouldn't it just be better to just "give up" and die than
to struggle with survival amidst lack of resources and
    persecution?
