    Have seen those who sometimes are label "cognats" speak of what they see as a possible future.

    One that was favored by certain folk would record a "reading" about a person sight unseen and with minimal information that would provide clues.

    Granted the readings were not ultraspecific, but were a lot more detailed than a newpaper birth sign prediction or a random cookie type fortune.

    My efforts to learn more about how the reader saw the subject didn't get very far.

    There does seem to be a balance between free will and predestiny that such readers traverse to make their forecasts.
