When dealing with people in the Intelligence Community, and with people in general, it is good to have worked up a personality profile so that you can figure out how people think and behave. This will save you lots of time trying to "figure a person out," and know how best to approach a person in general terms. I myself have taken the MBPTI and found that I'm the rarest of personality types, the INFJ. Basically I care more about other people than I do myself and have non-minor spiritual giftings. Knowing who you really are can be rewarding, being able to say, "yes, this is me," can be a lot of fun.

In the IC people are placed in either one of two career paths: analysts or officers. The analysts are the people who are good at logistics and the particulars of things, while officers are the outgoing people who enjoy spending time talking, building relationships, and using the human element, manipulating people, or at the very least taking something useful in terms of intelligence from friends, family, and associates.

    Cheers!

I participated in a study where we took the test multiple times, testing how effective coaching to skew results resulted in actual controlable results.
