The Mechanism of Christian Prophecy of God
----------
You might wonder how prophecy, actual prophecy, is done... just how does this thing work?
Well first it is a gifting. Not everyone is a prophet, and those who are are in different categories. There are prophets who's ministry is in the local church, those who's ministries to the wider church body, and those that are focused on their nation's government, and global prophets who are like the prophets of old. Prophets are definitely still a thing and their work is just as powerful as the prophets of old. Now not all prophets have the same level of gifting. Some prophets actually have the gift of "spiritual discernment," which is where they can sense the constitution of a person or place. They receive "nudges," that indicate to them if an area is safe to be in and whether people around them are against them. The nudges can be like part of an auto-pilot, where a person sees the will of God and follows along in such a way that they pick and choose what way is the best way to behave.
Now, on to prophecy proper, some people get their prophetic messages in real time when they see people out and about. Some other people get visions in their dreams at night or from waking visions that give messages that can be interpreted to guide the prophet in what they do, where they go, and what to say.
From what I have been able to observe, all major catastrophes have a prophet that will give a message to those in charge about what catastrophe is going to take place, so that there is always a warning, but the problem being that the prophets aren't believed and the catastrophe happens nonetheless or at least of little effect. Prophets can be a far better intelligence asset than a commoner. The Intelligence Product produced by a Prophet can be absolutely astonishing, however for the most part prophets aren't believed until several correct predictions that are used to establish their credibility. That may sound reasonable, except that those several "trial runs" can be very important so the people the prophet gives their message to may come to catastrophe because they don't initially believe the report of the Prophet.
I feel a need to clarify the difference between "remote viewing," "psychics," and legit "Prophecy." Those who practice remote viewing or psychic spiritual guidance are doing something that is clearly and emphatically against the will of God and is considered a sin in God's sight, according to The Holy Bible. They may be very accurate in their predictions, but no where near 100%. God is not anything less than 100%, so if you have a psychic who isn't 100% in accuracy you can be certain that the information is not coming from God. If it's not coming from God, then who is it that is providing such information. The Devil himself is who. I am familiar with the remote viewing scene and can be quite certain that this new "science," comes from below and not from above.
The remote viewers are tapping into a spiritual power or perception that is the source of their abilities. Now, no one likes to be told that they are wrong, especially those who have a high record of being successful in their "viewings," or "outboundings." What will it matter if you provide correct information to the police in finding something or someone when at the end of your days you are refused entry into Heaven due to your rebellion against God.
The "help" that you provide could be your downfall. It's just not worth it. Find another aspect of law enforcement in which you can help them out, and put aside your viewing so that you don't condemn yourself with Hell for a bit of advice to the establishment.
With a serious tone,
