A person gets into a mental state where they get messages from a
spirit, it just flows and sometimes you realize that its not you that's talking but a spirit is talking through you. This spirit can introduce things to the conversation that were totally not you. You just sit
back and let the conversation flow; you speak and speak then the spirit pipes in and says something of its own accord. It is like a
partnership, you and the spirit doing your thing.

Check out silentprayer.video when you get a chance. I do it pretty much every morning and evening and it allows me to start the day and finish the day in a peaceful state. Many times during this prayer I have discovered things or learned things about myself that I may not have otherwise. It does help to see things more clearly when your mind is quiet and free of thoughts.

Even just sitting in a room, completely still and silent, allows God to communicate with you (and vice versa even!) on a much deeper level. You get to know the spirit of God on a much deeper level than just "Dear God, heres a list, Amen".

The type of knowledge you gain from this is a spiritual knowledge about yourself. God communicates to us by revealing things about us and causing us to understand ourselves on a deeper spiritual level.

If this Spirit is anyone other than The Holy Spirit you are treading
down a dangerous road. In fact it is written that a person who uses spiritual forces for knowledge or to call up the dead will go to Hell.
It is completely forbidden to talk with or entertain evil or not Holy spirits.

You also have to be careful not to listen to your thoughts, though. Practical thoughts are OK, but any thought that brings about an emotion (be it one you judge as good or bad) or a feeling is of an evil spirit.

The experience allows you to walk down a street and get images in your vision that describe that person who you are looking at. For example,
if it were a member of a particular organization their crest or emblem
is displayed. If they are actively pursuing you, you might get what
looks like a black ink blot in front of your eyes. In the mindscape
the harder you try to hide something the brighter it shines. Some
people who are under extreme mental distress can call out to the ether
and have a prophet pick that up and act on the information transmitted.

I have had similar experiences some of my previous jobs where I would make a mistake and it was like I sent a distress beacon to my team lead who was often in another room or another part of the office. Some of the leads were not the most agreeable, so I would try to suppress it and deal with the problem myself - some times this didn't work though :|
