The Allure of Communism

On a surface level examination of communism the idea or fairness and community and not having a rich fat cat big boss over you, but everyone having the same lot, is an appealing thing to live under. The problem Communism has had in changing the world was the fact that tyrants were in control of Communism's world headquarters, namely Stalin in control of the Soviet Union. If Trotsky was in charge of the Soviet CCCP/USSR we might all be speaking Russian now, but the whole movement was co-opted by a great dictator and tyrant who wanted complete control of the entire social system of the Soviet Union. Some people accurately call Communism an Evil Empire, and they are actually right, but we must not forget the dream of freedom that the allure of communal living offers to those who chose such living according to their own personal preference. Now I'm not promoting Communism but rather giving a nod to those people who seek for something better. I live in Canada and really enjoy it here. I have no desire to live under a Communist government. Some people still have the dream of equal living, however we are living in the real world and here we are meant to be rewarded according to our works, if two people produce different sums or quality of work and yet receive the same reward this on a surface examination seems to be unfair or unjust.
In my opinion, the world should be organized by political systems that can be selected by the population according to their own personal preferences. The people would have ten year stays under the political systems of their choice, and select and go to their preferred system after that stay and be able to live lives according to their own personal decision of what system is the best according to their own conscience.
What's your take on this?
Cheers!
