This club has a manual in which you present different speeches on various different topics. The manual goes through basic stuff to more advanced presentations. It is sort of reminiscent of high school, except that it is a lot of fun, highly useful, and there being a very distinct point in why its being learned---to become a key person of influence.

ToastMasters costs around $120-$140 CAD ($100 USD) per year and pays for the rental of the space for the meetings, the manual, the oversight, and a small portion going to ToastMasters WHQ. As a non-native speaker, Toastmasters would be very helpful. There is one caveat though; I'm too shy to attend the meetings. I just need to grow a pair and go to one meeting...

I looked into this once before but as usual life interfers and just could not commit the time. Maybe I should look into it again?

Looked like a great program. The location I attended folded though. I think there are others, I haven't checked in a few years. I know one was at a university and figured I would not fit in there being, I'm 50+ years old. LOL.
