• How to Win Friends and Influence People

If someone has a constitution of steel you could make me happy by sending a copy of "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie to both President Putin and President Trump---It could do well in their hands.

    Cheers!

Very good book, and they don't lack in friends. People just end up said they aren't on the close-friends list?

Echomail came to the TQW and hence this reply. Lots of old message came through.

In fact, the meeting between Xi, Putin and Trump has no legitimacy. Concessions obtained under threats, are not legally valid. This just doesn't mean anything. Moreover, the Republican Party also does not recognize this as legal.

Disagree 180 degrees on this, as the situation is warfare, not statesmanship.

Would agree in general principle in statesmanship, but even there "might make right" is still the rule.

Xi, Trump and Putin will discuss how to "thump" the UKR into their idea of alignment with a mixture of sticks & carrots and secondary consequences.

This is a world level where the entity powers, individually or in consortium, exceed the imagined "rule of law."

... Honk if you love peace and quiet!

Sorry. But you cannot divide the world against the will of nations, and against the will of your people and your own party. The Baltic countries were under occupation for 46 years and no one recognized this. Trump's policies do not reflect the will of American voters and international laws. Any decisions he makes are not binding on anyone in this world except Maga.
The will of the party is more important than the will of the president.
