1. Preface
Friends, allow me, as a researcher immersed in the mysteries
of ancient civilizations and the enigma of human potential,
to continue expressing my position regarding the phenomenon
known as telepathy. Official science, with its conservative
skepticism, is quick to dismiss it as insignificant, citing
a lack of sufficient conclusive experimental evidence.
However, I assert: this is nothing more than blindness,
a reluctance to acknowledge that our ancestors may have
possessed knowledge that our so-called "modern" science
is only beginning to approach.
2. Classification
But let us delineate the fields. I am not speaking of the
mystical "voice in the head." I refer to a complex
psychophysiological phenomenon rooted in the biological
foundations of life. Recall flocks of birds or schools
of fish changing direction in perfect synchrony, as if guided
by a single will. This is not magic but the reality
of biological synchronization, based on ultra-fast responses
to barely perceptible visual or vibrational signals. Humans,
having lost the acuity of these senses in civilized society,
have retained their potential deep within the psyche. Take,
for example, legendary Soviet stage performers such as Wolf
Messing. His performances, where he demonstrated mind
-reading, amazed thousands of spectators. He performed
complex tasks, mentally transmitted from the audience, found
hidden objects, read written words. Science explains this
phenomenon as the "Clever Hans" effect - an unconscious
muscular cue. Yes, this is partly probable. In my own modest
experiments in field conditions outdoors, I managed
to reproduce something similar with a group of tourists.
Using a system of subtle signals - faint movements, glances,
by mutual agreement - I was able to direct my created
"telepath" toward the imagined object or word in a book. But
does this exhaust the depth of the phenomenon? Experiments
with hypnosis conducted in the USSR in the 1980s at a hospital
in Novosibirsk revealed something different. A hypnotized
patient, not seeing the number on a folded piece of paper held
by the hypnotist, correctly identified it. I have written about
this before and do not wish to repeat myself. When the feedback
channels - visual control of the patient's hand movement - were
interrupted by a sheet, the result disappeared. Isn't this
proof that a connection exists, but it is not through some
mystical channel, rather through those very, still not fully
understood by science, non-verbal, subconscious signals?
We are merely opening the door to a vast hall of knowledge
about the human psyche. What about spiritist seances
or a spirit board? Seemingly pure mystification. But
laboratory experiments showed that the movement of the
planchette is not at the will of spirits but results from
involuntary micro-movements of the participants' hands. And
surprisingly, it can point to letters forming meaningful
answers - even when only one person present, who does not
touch the planchette, knows the correct answer! Their
involuntary reactions, facial expressions, breathing are
unconsciously read by others and translated into movement.
Isn't this a form of communication - a kind of collective
subconscious, a protocol our civilization has yet to decode?
And here we arrive at the main point. All these examples -
spirit boards, hypnosis, the work of a stage "telepath" -
demonstrate not a channel for transmitting thoughts, but
a channel for receiving and processing information that
we typically do not notice. Our brain is a brilliant analyzer
of micro-signals: breathing frequencies, slight facial muscle
tension, eye glints, changes in heart rhythm. In states
of heightened concentration or hypnotic trance, this analyzer
reaches an incredible level of sensitivity. What we call
"reading thoughts" is often actually "reading the person"
as a whole, including all involuntary reactions. Only a few
can do this. But those who truly can possess unlimited power.
Think about it!
3. Biological Telepathy
But that is not all. There exists a domain that science
is only beginning to explore - direct biological connection
at the level of synchronization of internal biological rhythms.
There are cases where, among twins or people who have lived
together for a long time, menstrual cycles synchronize,
similar dreams occur, or an unexplainable sense of alarm
arises simultaneously during a danger to the other. This
is not telepathy in the sci-fi sense but a consequence of deep
biological and emotional tuning - possibly mediated
by pheromones, infrasound, or weak electromagnetic fields
of living organisms or neurons. We are complex bioelectric
systems, and our "field" interactions are not mysticism but
a hypothesis requiring serious investigation. Consider the
animal kingdom. Migratory birds crossing thousands
of kilometers without maps or compasses; homing pigeons
finding their way home precisely; salmon returning to spawn
in their native rivers. Science offers hypotheses about
magnetic or astronomical navigation. But are these explanations
complete? Experiments with ants conducted by Soviet
scientist Raisa Matveevna Kaul over more than ten years
convincingly demonstrated that these tiny creatures use tree
tops for navigation - creating a visual map of their
environment within their microscopic brains! They solve
a problem that modern engineers struggle with - correlation
- based extreme navigation. If ants developed such instincts
over millions of years of evolution, what could humans achieve
in this regard? Think about this next time you experience
strange or inexplicable feelings. So where is the truth?
As always, it lies somewhere in the middle. Telepathy
as a direct, non-physical reading of words and images "from
head to head" most likely does not exist. But telepathy
as a collective term for a whole spectrum of real, yet
extremely weak and poorly understood forms of biocommunication
- undoubtedly is a reality. It is a delicate web of connections
woven from remnants of our ancient animal senses, subconscious
capabilities, and non - verbal intelligence. Ancient
civilizations, living in greater harmony with nature,
perhaps cultivated and developed these abilities, transforming
them into an art that we now, with our instruments and logic,
are only beginning to reconstruct. My own field studies
of mosquitoes and horseflies have dispelled the widespread
myth of their ability to sense prey from kilometers away. No,
they find us only from a few meters, guided by heat and smell.
But does this mean all secrets of the living world are
uncovered? Absolutely not! It only means we must seek
explanations not in mysticism but in complex, still unknown
mechanisms of biocommunication.
4. Conclusions
Yes, I am intrigued by bold claims about telepathy as a kind
of direct mental radio. My many years of research, including
attempts to activate a telepathic channel through pain
induction using a "carrot and stick" method, have not
yielded success. But I am convinced: what we call telepathy
is a truly complex phenomenon. It includes perceiving
ultra-weak physical signals, subtle reading of body language
and subconscious cues, phenomenal memory, and the brain's
capacity for incredible, as yet unexplained forms
of connection. Denying this means denying the very
possibility that ancient proto-civilizations of the Ice Age,
whose traces I see worldwide, possessed knowledge lost
to us. Perhaps their priests and initiates mastered the art
of such communication perfectly. Our task is not to dismiss
the phenomenon outright but to continue research with
an open mind, utilizing the entire arsenal of modern science
to unravel this greatest mystery of human potential. The truth
is nearby, waiting for its Tesla!
