What is currently happening in Russia is a complete realization of the WEF program that failed in Western countries between 2020 and 2022. Against the backdrop of internet blockades, slowed connectivity, and the disconnection of alternative messaging platforms, all Russian citizens are being forcibly transitioned to a unified national messenger, MAX, which is installed on Chinese-certified state smartphones. This system today functions as an analogue to a passport with a social rating. It incorporates a digital ID that verifies identity, age, social status, vaccination status, and also stores information about all purchases.
The fact is that MAX is used instead of a plastic card. This makes it possible, as the WEF once promised, to control each individual's consumption level. All correspondence within this messenger is linked to the passport, and through deep content analysis, it can be classified according to the current Russian criminal code. The messenger conducts online monitoring of the citizen's activity on the internet and their movements 24/7. Additionally, notifications about mobilization and other directives are automatically sent through this application. Refusal to install this application is regarded as disloyalty to the state.
All migrants arriving in Russia for work are required to use MAX on a Chinese smartphone forcibly. Thus, voluntary biometric identification becomes mandatory for all categories of the population. The virtual profile serves as an analogue to physical documents and allows confirmation of age, student status, pensioner status, being a parent of multiple children, veteran status, and so forth. Identity verification in the digital ID is carried out via a dynamic QR code that updates every 30 seconds within the MAX account. Creating and using the digital ID, including when checking into hotels or purchasing age-restricted goods, is only available to adult citizens.
Access to the QR code itself is through Face ID or fingerprint recognition. This function is used for digital identification at self-service checkout counters in stores when purchasing age-restricted products.
Against this background, Russia, by decision of Rospotrebnadzor, may implement a full lockdown and quarantine. This was announced in the Russian parliament. A sudden increase of 63% in cases of acute respiratory infections has been reported. Previously, epidemiologist Gennady Onishchenko stated that to prevent a flu epidemic in Russia, all employers should be required to vaccinate their employees directly in the offices and send home those who complain of malaise for remote work.
