• Goodbye Spooknet

The End of Times echo seems the obvious place to announce that End Of The Line BBS will no longer be carrying SpookNet.

The network owner has been AWOL and I've been unable to connect to my hub since Nov 9th and the owner chooses not to respond to my emails.

    Adios.

Sorry to see your BBS waving from the window as it drives off down the road to.... wait, what are going to replace this with?

In the interest of clarity I understand that End of the Line BBS has been unable to poll nor able to establish contact with Warmfuzzy?

This time of year he does some traveling to their family cottage and is connectivity isn't always top notch. Hotspot in the wilderness sort of thing.

His sometimes helping hand I heard might be in the midst of moving house again, so that usually has him preoccupied for a bit.

Often you can get Warmfuzzy's attention by matrix/element if you can find him on MRC or via email.

sp00k is still polling @ 2oFB - but I know warmfuzzy is handling his holiday and has been w0rking on sp00k being up.

Sorry to see you exit, but if you hang out I'm positive WF will fix it up.

    Cheers, r0ckstar.

His sometimes helping hand I heard might be in the midst of moving house again, so that usually has him preoccupied for a bit.

Usually it's good practice for a network owner to notify people if they're likely to be unavailable for an extended period of time. Paul on fsxnet is a good communicator and lets people know when he's traveling.

Tried mrc several times. Nope. I've emailed several times, nope.

As I say, it came back "all on its own" before I had chance to remove the config so I guess I'll see what happens over the next week or two.

I tried to log in to MRC, but I'm blocked there and I'm getting messages that I can't register. That's why I can't contact WarmFuzzy either. Sorry.

I let warmfuzzy know he has someone looking for help.

None of your contact efforts have gotten through to him.

Everyone else's system is picking up their feeds.

So your situation might be truly special.
