The Jewish people are easy to hate with the anti-semetic propaganda that floods the news media these days. The Jews are considered the bad guys, that cause turmoil in the world and cause troubles of various kinds all over the world. There are conspiracy theories against them as an entire people group. These prejudices are flat out false. Israel is the only truely democratic country in the Middle East. They are partners with Western Intelligence, and they are prosperous with many sucessful start-ups. On October 7th the terrorist group which was in control of "Palestine" started a war against Israel "proper" and killed one thousand two hundred people in a mass murder of innocent civilians. The response was expected, Israel declared war against Hamas and destroyed much of the "Palestanian" territory. Now to state it again, Israel had 1,200 people murdered by roving gangs of terrorists. Within the month of this unprovoked attack happening the media was condemning Israel for committing war crimes against the "Palestinians." So Israel gets attacked and Hamas was the new group being persecuted. This is crazy talk right? Well, no, there are many many people who are just itching for a reason to hate on Israel, whether Israel being guilty of anything or not. They just loathe the Jews and they are on the constant prowl to do whatever they can to undermine this Western/Middle-Eastern country. They are the enemy no matter what they do, how they apologize for mistakes, or make reparations for their mistakes. Consider this: when the 9/11 terrorist attacks happened did the American government make up and play nice when approximately 3,000 of their citizens died in the worst terrorist attack against a Western nation in the modern era? I certainly think not. Nor should they have. If you let terrorists take an attack on something valuable and do nothing about it, you are encouraging people, empowering people, to do other massive attacks of terrorism without fear of retaliation. A firm and solid and powerful response is needed.
The BDS Movement (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions) against Israel is yet another effort to hurt Israel however people can do so. Again, Israel is not the enemy. Yes it has its flaws, yes there are troubles there, and yes many are secular not worshiping God The Father and Jesus Christ, however compared to other nations out there Israel is the epicenter for YHWH's people, who simply want to live in peace. This they have not been able to accomplish. Their enemies do not seek peace, but rather "Jihad, Jihad, and Jihad!" to quote Yassir Arifat. The soldiers of Palestine have as their goal the complete extinction of Israel in every way. Israel is faced with an existential threat to their nation and homeland; is it any wonder why Israel is so serious about curbing attacks against it? When people boycott Israel that nation will suffer financially from not partnering with an all star scientific power-house, and when they divest from Israel they find partners who are not true to their word, and when they press sanctions against Israel, they are simply hurting thier own trade by eliminating a trading partner that could make them rich and cultured. There is no good reason to implement the BDS attack against Israel. Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions is impractical and doomed to failure. Yes, it might cause a headache or two but won't stop or even slow Israel's progression as a nation. Israel is protected by God's hands. The Church has not replaced Israel, Israel will always be the love of God's eyes. He made several covenants with Israel over the years and He never breaks his word.
Cheers!
