It seems right to not forget 9/11 or let it pass into distant memory.
On this day in 2001 3,000 people lost their lives in the worst terrorist attack against the United States of America ever up to that point. We remember. We must not allow the attacks to harm us in other ways as
well. We can not forgo our freedom of speech, freedom of privacy, and freedom to peacefully assemble. If the terrorists succeed in destroying these rights they have done two major attacks against the USA: the
planes as bombs, and the lack of civil liberties as bombs.
I struggled, this 9/11, to find remembrances of that day that I could 'appreciate' or agree with... too many conspiracy things - from what I think was one of the worst days I've ever experienced in Amerikkka.
We bring to remembrance President Bush in his very hard presidency, and all those soldiers who got injured and died for the protection of our
free society.
Fuck G. Bush - and thank God for all those first responders, and military who responded in the days and weeks after...
I remember so many things from 9/11 - none of which I wish to relic in or smile about. Jesus Christ.
