If you use TOR (The Onion Router) off of your personal computer's OS such as Windows, Mac, and even Linux you are not being as proactive in your security as you should be. Enter TAILS, The Amnesic Incognito Live System: The Secure Communications Operating System. This is the answer to your secure web browsing and Darknet portal. You can download this software from :

    https://tails.boum.org/

Its current version at v5.7 takes up 1.3 GB of space on your USB stick.

    I recommend this product.

    Cheers!

Whonix is also a VERY secure method...

Kodachi if one knows what they're doing - or at least HOW to use all the bells and whistles that are included. My Kobox is behind 2x VPNs and a tor instance; but I had to set that all up.

When I was enjoying my previous position in the Info Sec office at my work,
we would go into our lab, access tor, and go to different hacker forums and discuss current threats being advertised on those forums. We did this twice.

The methodology of TOR is cool, but it's way too slow for my taste. Sometimes the forum would timeout and we'd have to refresh a few times for it to render the pages. I really can't see a use for it myself.

Yeah, I've had lots of issues using TOR for web-based connections, but telnet/ssh/console connections seem to handle the lack of bandwidth
    better.

    ... Is the style right?
