    Hmmmm... lemme see if I agree with you (or this guy).

    My preferred method is behind a Whonix VM on my main laptop - even tho its on my hardware, I feel very safe w/ it as a base tool. Once setup its 'quick', sandboxed and open-source.

    I do run some TOR services on other machines; Kodachi *nix for some tor file-sharing... where do you like to run tor?

    I try not to doso ON my main OSes; altho one can do that fairly safely, too.
