• Covert Christian Evangelism in the Darknet

My mind is just wandering right now... I'm thinking about just how cool it would be if persecuted Pastor's could get their entire training materials from a site on one of the various darknets. Imagine the whole, complete, and comprehensive training with *everything* needed to get missionaries their materials in a secret way that will protect these dear men and women of God from persecution for witnessing for The Most High God, YHWH, Jehovah. Imagine a site that had something like 20 gigs of data that contained the full books and audiobooks, and PDF documents, and sermons in all formats, and everything else you can imagine under the Sun that would help these heros of The Faith. It would be in a 7z archive, divided into 20 parts, totalling 20 gigabytes, divided so that if there are transmission errors the student could just re-download the corrupted files with fresh ones that work. Imagine audio Bibles, Christian audiobooks from Audible or the like, language training in MP3, literally everything that an evangelical evangelist would both need and want available right away for their download from TOR, FREENET, or I2P. It'd be like *BOOM* --- You've got the Word of God for FREE and be blessed so very very much. WOW!!! This idea is exciting. If someone out there has the same feelings that I do, why not make this media archive to give to missionaries. Yay God!!!

    Cheers!

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. Everyone thinks of China when they're thinking about Christian persecution, but India is just as bad, if not worse. Our church has missionaries there, but they're unable to send back accurate reports of what's happening due to the risk to their lives and mission, so we really only hear from them every few years when they come back to report or we send a team to them.

Even sending teams is risky, since they assume if you're white (or American) that you're a Christian, so great care has to be taken to ensure that the missionaries aren't compromised.

It seems to me that a multi-stage library would be best. Standard translations and scholarly texts (Strong's Concordance, for example) would be a sort of "Tier 1", followed by works by Spurgeon, Calvin, Lewis, etc, as a "Tier 2", selected audio as "Tier 3", and selected video as "Tier 4".

That library could be distributed via Tor hidden services, bittorrent, and so on. Truecrypt hidden volumes could be used on microsd media, under the guise of camera gear, for example) to carry the library into the persecuted country.

Of course, communications would need to take place via alternative channels, such as coded messages via stego, PGP encrypted messages via tormail, etc.

Perhaps there's a play for making a playbook for using TAILS for missionaries...

    Just my stream of consciousness...

I attended a lecture on how this sort of ting played a part in the Polish restoration as a free state.

I belive more was done by physical media than online, as the secuirty was more easily understood.
