Hi everyone,
Just got thinking along the lines of what types of crypto will be resistant against quantum-computation based cryptography. Are there some algorithms that would be more secure than others?
Specifically I'm curious about what crypto I should start relying on and which crypto I should dump in the garbage bin. Will it be the same kind of problem with both public key and private key crypto systems? Which crypto should I migrate towards?
It seems as the years progress the number of Q-bits (or Quantum Bits) available for manipulation keeps increasing to the point where it would be practical to crack just about every crypto-system out there.
