If I was young this would be my first choice if I wanted to serve.

Truly an amazing area.

As an aside, you're unlikely to get much information on what they actually do because of security concerns. They seem to have declassified enough tidbits to attract the people they are hoping would join, but not enough to put substance to speculations about what they fully can do.

Lame. That was a Trump 45 production, if memory serves. The air force
could easily take that responsibility without causing conflicts and the
added overhead of another military branch. Now we have overlapping
areas of responsibility.

What do they call their people? Guardians?

There's a great comedy series on Netflix called "Space Force", with
Steve Carrell and John Malkovich. Funny series.

Quite the opposite.

"Space" was split across a whole much of agencies, including dozens we usually never heard off.

The Defense part likewise.

I'm seeing this more like how the Army Air Force spun out the separate Air Force.
