Why is the official science that ignores alien theories so active in criticizing the idea that 3I/ATLAS is an Alien Probe?
    https://sites.psu.edu/astrowright/2025/07/18/avi-and-3i-atlas/
You know, I've been in this topic for a long time, and I find this behavior strange.
    And:
What do astronomical dissidents say about the comet?

    1. Bizarre Appearance

    Looks spherical, resembling either:
A comet with a bright nucleus and coma.
A planet-sized object (Mars/Venus scale) with an atmosphere.
Initial size estimate: ~20 km in diameter.
Official update: Glowing region spans 25,000 km-far larger than expected.

    2. Highly Implausible Trajectory

    a) Orbit aligns almost parallel to Earth's (within 5° of the ecliptic). Probability of random interstellar comet matching this: <0.2%.
    b) Makes close passes to Venus (0.65 AU), Mars (0.19 AU), and Jupiter (0.36 AU).
    Combined probability: ~0.005%.
    c) At perihelion, positioned opposite Earth behind the Sun-suspiciously convenient to avoid scrutiny.
Statistically absurd for a natural object.

    3. Statistically Improbable Discovery

Detecting an interstellar object like 'Oumuamua in 5 years: 0.0001% chance. Finding one 20 km+ in size (or larger) should take ~50 million years.
If it's a "comet-planet," odds are lower than the age of the universe.

    4. Anomalous Spectral Data

Lacks typical comet gas signatures (no atomic/molecular spectral lines).
Shows only reddened reflected sunlight, suggesting:
    Cosmic dust clouds or
Surface properties akin to Kuiper Belt objects (turned red over billions of years by UV/cosmic rays).
Yet, 3I/ATLAS reddened in just a few years-or was always red.

    5. Questionable "Comet Tail" Claims

Official images show a "tail," but:
At 60 km/s speed, long telescope exposures (2-3+ minutes) blur any fast-moving object (even a race car).
Likely not a real tail, just motion artifacts.

    6. Suppression of Dissent

Astronomer Avi Loeb faces ridicule in media/journals for suggesting unnatural origins.
Scientific backlash forces him to seek psychological support.
Raises concerns about possible suppression/conspiracy in mainstream astronomy.

    Conclusion: 8 Suspicious Clues

Combined evidence suggests 3I/ATLAS is artificial or engineered-possibly a planet-sized spacecraft (given its 25,000 km "atmosphere").
Authorities appear to be hiding something, fueling speculation about its true nature.

9 We are not provided with the object's spectrograms.

    good analysis

    Three Body Problem class object?

With the statistical numbers that is just as likely as something more natural.

I will continue this topic again, I have published the full text on my Phlog. This is not all the news.
In 2025, astronomer Beatriz Villarreal and her colleagues (https://shorturl.at/gUYLG) published a sensational study.
By comparing old photographic plates from the 19th and 20th
centuries with modern data, they discovered that thousands
of stars seem to have vanished without a trace. But the most
astonishing finding was the transient flashes - short-lived
bursts that appeared and disappeared in the images. There
were so many that the hypothesis of photographic artifacts
was immediately dismissed. The programs recorded up to 5000
flickers per day, most frequently in regions of
geostationary orbit. And these were not asteroids - since
their glints would be chaotic - these objects produced
clear, synchronized flashes. They are not satellites - since
in the 1950s, satellites did not exist (unless: aliens?).
Such flashes could theoretically be caused only by
    geometrically perfect structures resembling crystals,
suggesting a hypothetical network of unknown objects.
Alternative researchers are jubilant: perhaps this is the
very shield hiding the true cosmos around us? Or an ancient
orbital system of a lost civilization? There is no
    definitive answer yet.
I haven't seen such strange activity around near-space topic in a long time.

The paper is a really interesting read.
