We live inside a giant "neon lamp." It sounds strange, but that
is exactly how many mysterious phenomena on Earth are
explained. We are not talking about the bulb in a screwdriver,
but about the fact that our entire atmosphere works like a huge
gas-discharge tube. The authors of this theory are scientists
Charles Wilson (who proposed a "capacitor" model in 1922) and
Yakov Frenkel (who developed the "electrostatic" idea in 1948).
The essence of their concepts is this: Earth and the ionosphere
are two plates of a giant capacitor, and between them is air
that can glow if the voltage becomes too high. It usually
starts all with the Sun. Approximately every 11 years

by physics. When stresses arise in the Earth's crust (for

this light is not always visible to the eye - it can

blazed like candles. And in Tashkent in 1966, people's hair
