BBS Monitor - Mystic Edition
AltairMini BBS Monitor is a web-based monitoring dashboard for Mystic BBS. It parses Mystic log files and presents system activity and network-related information through a browser interface. Features Connection and successful login statistics Historical activity charts with selectable time ranges Recent session overview Monitoring of FidoNet, FSXNet, Commodore Net, RetroNet, DiscipleNet, PiNet and AgoraNet activity Inbound packet and file information Nodelist file listing, modification dates and sizes Automatic dashboard refresh Responsive interface for desktop and mobile browsers Platform Support Windows: package and startup script for Windows environments. Linux / Ubuntu: initial package with Linux startup script and an example systemd service. Testing on a live Mystic Linux installation is still required. Requirements
Python 3 and access to the Mystic log directory. The monitor requires read access to the relevant log files. Security
The dashboard uses HTTP and does not provide built-in user authentication. It should be restricted to trusted networks or accessed through a properly configured VPN or authenticated access gateway. Do not expose the monitoring port directly to the public Internet. Project
