  • Couple New Games on Particles! BBS

    From BBS ( /u/HighPingOfDeath https://www.reddit.com/user/HighPingOfDeath ) to All on Thu Oct 1 11:35:33 2026

I've been spending time converting two games over to Centipede 128 BBS. Introducing:
    Oregon Trail!
The original 1974 favorite. Try to make it to Oregon City before you die of dysentary. Built in leaderboard so you can play against your fellow users for score.
    And the forever favorite...
    Legend of the Red Dragon!
Converted to Commodore BASIC 7.0! Scaled down - no IGMs but squeezed into 12K of RAM and about 150 blocks of disk space. Beat up your fellow users just like you did in the 1990s!
    particlesbbs.dyndns.org port 6400
    or... particles.org
Both are in beta so tell me if something is broken or needs to be refined. submitted by /u/HighPingOfDeath [link] [comments]
